Domaine de la Borie Blanche

At the heart of the AOP Minervois and Livinière, visit an essential area of the wine route.

Vast south-facing amphitheater, backed by the Montagne Noire, the Minervois is under the dominant influence of the Mediterranean. Culminating at 400 meters, in the heart of the Minervois appellation, the AOP la Livinièreis a rare terroir made up of limestone and schist. The tasting of the estate’s great wines evokes a mineral setting, between the low walls where you sometimes discover a small dry stone hut, like a black opening on these white pebble walls. It is a ‘borie’, which gave its name to the domain.
