Château de Ciffre BIO · Terroirs d’Altitude · 2020 Saint Chinian

TERROIR • The schist terroirs cling to the Pic de la Coquillade Piedmont, which rises to 650m. The terroirs of altitude are those whose freshness at night allows a gentle maturation and the most elegant expression of aromas. Soils composed of limestone and shale.

WINES MAKING • Harvest by plot, separately, at the aromatic peak of the grapes. Traditional vinification, respectful of the fruit with delicate extraction. Partial aging in barrels (50% in new barrels).

TASTING NOTES • Garnet color. Great aromatic intensity, raspberry jam. On the palate, we find red fruits. Silky and velvety tannins that bring extra intensity and length.
